Docs To Go Premium App Reviews

I loved this app and it was exactly what I was looking for to edit and create M.Office type documents. Expecially for spreadsheets...until the latest update. I dont like the new layout that came with this update. I find it more difficult to get to the different functions. Before the update it felt like excel. Now it doesnt. Still a great app, just not as in love with the flow.

Perhaps I did not read carefully enough before purchasing the premium app, but I prefer to believe that the description is deliberately misleading. Be aware that with this app YOU CAN NOT CREATE POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS. You can only make very minor, insignificant changes to existing slides created on your desktop. Although documents-to-go has useful features, I give the premium upgrade the lowest value I can because they cheated me by a vague and misleading product description. It was a TOTAL waste of money!

This is an amazing Office app, however I think this requires the ability to create folders within the app to better manage files.

Just wondering why it takes so long to access my Google Drive? (ie. Requesting Google Drive Feed... Then Processing folders) Furthermore, I cant seem to access my Drive at all, the App keeps kicking me out/crashing when trying to access my drive. I cant seem to save created Docs to Go docs in my drive either. Any help/ assistance would be greatly appreciated. I would very much like to use Docs to Go as my processing app and use Drive for storage and sharing. Excellent idea, poor implementation, in my experience, so far. Thanks.

It does what I need it to, but needs a major upgrade to its list of compatible Excel functions. 111 functions is a joke. Polaris Office has 250 functions! More than double! MORE THAN DOUBLE! Im tired of having to find use complicated basic alternatives, because DTG doesnt support a common Excel function.

The way the whole thing is set up isnt very organized and easy to access. If also will not let me access PowerPoint for ipad. Like i paid $16 dollars for this app! You think you could have these types of things under control. Quite dissapointed.

Doesnt sync properly. Could not use icloud either.

I have been using this app for at least 6 months, it use to work great but lately it keeps saying its lost connection and wont sync. Support is very unhelpful and takes days to respond. They blame my internet connection which is the fastest you can get and always worked before with this app. As well all my other devises work great with my connection. The only way to temporarily correct is to uninstall and re install. PLEASE FIX YOUR APP.

This app is terrible, plain and simple. Its a word processor without spell check, and its $17? For what? This app is one of the biggest ripoffs on the entire App Store. There are a few other word processors on here, and I recommend any other over this one.

Cant add desktop! Have spent hours and hours trying, and nothing! No help or support!!!

Air print function would be awesome. Nevertheless, thanks for the hard work!

I use this app all the time. Its Microsoft Office apps are a great plus. I can make changes to a document and sync to my drop box account.

It is like carrying the whole microsoft suite in your pocket. I have used this software for years and have no complaints.

The last update rendered this app useless. After editing a document already in my Dropbox account this app will no longer save the file in the same folder - only the root directory. In addition the file I made was empty (0 kb). I tried editing and saving the file to the iPad instead. Same problem. The new file was empty and all my work gone. At least I still had the original untouched. Pretty much useless now except for reading a file.

This is the best app to edit, create, send and save documents on your cloud. However with the last update, this app is useless. It doesnt even save or upload any document. FIX THIS SOON!!

Sure, you can get MS word now for your iPad. But it costs 250 MB. And try saving the file to your Dropbox. No way ( at least that I could find). This app is very compatible and has the basic editing functions you need on the fly. You can push the file into all compatible apps. Great deal.

Keeps saying error when I try to load my files.... Awesome

Prior to an update, this app worked flawless and synced with my pc. I loved this program! Ive reloaded both on my ipad and on my pc, the pc cant list the ipad now to pair them. Dont know what happened nor how to sort it out. Their general help is completely useless.

Ive been using this app for the last 5 years or so and its been great up until the last update. Whos idea was the side bar? Its taking up 25% of my screen. And to get rid of it I have to save my work, close the file & open it again but if I leave the app and come back there it is again! Please fix

This App is centre of all my business Apps - works better than other Excel or doucment programs,etc - cannot function without it. Support is by far the best in the App world - had an issue and within 30 minutes got a response - the issue was addressed and fixed. Others could and should learn from this group. Well done and thank you !!!!
